Allied Forces museum in the Dahlem district.

This museum covers the era of the Berlin Airlift as well as the time of the cold war. The rain added to the the atmosphere and we were the only two people there that day thus far. It39s a quick 60 minute self guided tour or 90 minutes if you take your time. It39s located in an old american theater.

Tempelhof Airport

Templehof airport was started in the mid 3039s and though functional was never finished. It was taken over by the americans after the war expanded with runways and served as the airport for the american sector. It is a huge building that is built with stadium access style access to allow people to get on the roof for airshows. As many of the buildings of the era it also has bunkers underneath
